Real-time clarity for faster, better creative

Real-time clarity for faster, better creative

When you’re shipping hundreds of assets across social, PPC, product launches, and video every month, “gut feel” isn’t enough. Our Creative Studio Dashboard gives everyone—from designers and squad leads to marketing stakeholders—a live view of throughput, quality, and impact so we can move faster with confidence. It’s built in ClickUp and pulls data automatically from our daily work, no spreadsheets, no manual updates.

“When you’re shipping hundreds of assets across social, PPC, product launches, and video every month, 'gut feel' isn’t enough.”

Why we built it

As we operationalised the Creative Studio, we needed shared visibility that answered three questions at a glance:

  1. Are we delivering efficiently?

  2. Is the work performing?

  3. How healthy is our creative system?

Those three pillars—Efficiency, Impact, and Internal Health—anchor the dashboard and the KPIs it tracks.

We designed a customised ClickUp dashboard and included it in our weekly reviews so that numbers, not opinions, guide decisions.

What’s inside (and why it matters)

Efficiency

  • On-time delivery by team and squad, with trendlines. In June, we hit 85% overall; in September, with a heavier campaign slate, we delivered 95% on time across 428 tasks. These snapshots help us fix bottlenecks fast.

  • Throughput & load: tasks completed and story points per designer to balance capacity.

  • Iteration & time tracking: integrated at the task level to reduce rework and keep timelines real.

Impact

  • We connect creative output to channel outcomes. Early wins: WhatsApp CTR was up 37.8%, and social engagement was up 27% after we made performance reviews a habit.

Internal Health

  • AI adoption—how often we use AI inside design and motion tasks—so we invest where it truly speeds us up. We saw 54% AI-assisted tasks in May, 41% in June, and 60% in September as broader tooling rolled out.

  • A satisfaction score is captured on the same board to close the loop between requesters and creators.

How we use it day-to-day

Squad leads use “workload vs. velocity” views to right-size sprints and unblock reviews. The dashboard tracks delivery, AI integration, story points, and workload per designer, so you can rebalance in minutes.

Designers track their own flow—time on task, iteration loops, and due-date risk—without extra admin. Metrics update automatically from ClickUp activity.

Stakeholders see a single truth: what’s shipped, what’s next, and where approvals are slowing us down. Our standard request form feeds clean briefs straight into the board, improving cycle time and reducing rework.

Proof it works

Scale without chaos: In September alone, the studio completed 428 tasks, 60% of which used AI to accelerate production during campaign peaks.

  • Consistency at speed: During H1, the dashboard underpinned the studio’s launch and helped unify workflows across teams—turning weekly reviews into a performance habit.

  • Channel impact: We’re tying creative volume and quality to outcomes—e.g., higher WhatsApp CTR and stronger social engagement—so we can double down on what moves the needle.

What’s next

Two focus areas for the Dashboard roadmap:

  1. Deeper data integrations so squads can see more downstream signals in one place (e.g., adding marketing systems alongside studio metrics).

  2. Standardised, scalable inputs—clearer briefs and templated requests—to keep the data clean and the work flowing.

Bottom line: The Creative Studio Dashboard isn’t just a wall of charts—it’s how we run the creative engine. It gives us a common language for speed, quality, and impact, and turns busy work into better work every week.
